Storage Rack Designs For Permit Submittal
Our storage rack designs are developed to include detailed information required for storage rack permit submittals to governing agencies. This includes floor-plan drawings, elevation drawings, rack capacities, product weights, maximum store heights and more. Designs are provided to engineering firms when structural calculations and/or fire protection high piled storage rack analysis are required. Macklan Enterprises coordinates the designs, engineering and submittal process.
Structural engineering
Macklan Enterprises works with licensed structural engineers to provide structural rack calculations. Structural engineers provide rack capacity calculations, load capacities, and anchoring requirements. The calculation package includes the professional engineer's stamp and electronic signature.
Fire Protection Engineering
Macklan Enterprises works with licensed fire protection engineers to provide a high piled storage rack analysis. The analysis includes a review of fire codes pertaining to high piled storage rack. The analysis reviews products commodity class, fire protections systems, egress, maximum storage height and other applicable codes. The calculation package includes the professional engineer's stamp and electronic signature.
Storage Rack Permit Submittal, Permit Plan Review, and Inspections
Macklan Enterprises has contractor's licenses in numerous Colorado jurisdictions for high-piled storage rack. We apply under our contractor's license for storage rack permits by completing governing agency forms, design drawings as well as structural engineering and fire protection analysis. These documents are submitted to the governing agency(s). Once the review process is completed and approved our onsite team members construct the storage rack. We call for the required inspections once the onsite work is completed.
