Description of Service 

Macklan Enterprises offers warehouse storage rack designs to maximize your product storage capabilities.  Our designs give consideration to rack types, aisle sizing, lift equipment options, maximum storage height, building codes and more.  

Designs are completed using the AutoCAD software program to provide a high level of accuracy.  The designs are customized for your specific application.  The design drawings are typically used for developing rack layouts & beam elevations, product placement and storage, storage position locator and labeling, installation plans, engineering review and storage rack permit submittals. Design drawings are available electronically or through our own in-house plotting capabilities.

Our storage rack designs include and give consideration to the following items

  - Building structure, walls, doors, ceilings, fire protection system and more

  - Storage rack types, sizing, capacities, flue spacing, decking & anchoring

  - Products stored, pallet sizing and weights

  - Lift equipment, aisle sizing, maximum lift height, and capacities

  - Detail on drawings for storage rack engineering reviews

  - Building and fire department review

  - Recommendation on effective method of product handling
